A former Army officer and an Oxford graduate with over twenty years’ experience in senior leadership positions in the City, initially as Sales Director for Mercury Fund Managers, the mutual funds business of Mercury Asset Management (“MAM”). I moved within MAM to become Operations Director, with a brief to reorganise the firm’s Institutional business.
I took a similar role with Schroder Investment Management before starting my own business in 2001. Its initial focus was on strategy implementation, an area in which I continue to work with a number of (usually larger) clients.
In 2003, I qualified as a Business Coach, graduating from the Business Coach Programme of Meyler Campbell (accredited by WABC, the SRA and EMCC among others). I am a Member of the Association for Coaching and became a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association at Harvard in 2010.
My book titles include The Professional’s Guide to Business Development, Success as a Coach, The Invasion Game – Business Development and practice growth for Lawyers and Grow the Bottom Line – how Accountants can win more work, more profitably from the right clients. I am a regular speaker at conferences and run a variety of workshop programmes and seminars.
